Tomáš comes from this local region, where his family has lived since 1669. Their ties to vine cultivation run just as deep. His relationship with nature was awakened in childhood through scouting, which also instilled in him a strong sense of responsibility for its protection. His appreciation for history and tradition led him to the natural decision to combine these areas.

He began making wine independently at the age of sixteen. Over nine years of study at two wine schools, he completed more than ten practical internships at wineries of various structures, sizes, and specializations. From the beginning, however, he became fond of Riesling, which led him to regions that are its home – to the Austrian Wachau and the German regions of Pfalz and Rheingau. It was there that he gained a deeper understanding of the true nature of this variety.

In 2024, he founded Prameny Winery with the goal of creating Rieslings that will be a faithful reflection of the places, vintages, and ideas of the people from this region.
